British Columbia Activity Based Costing Study released

TORONTO, February 1, 2007 -- The British Columbia Activity Based Costing Study, by the Canadian Association of Chain Drug Stores, British Columbia Pharmacy Association and the British Columbia Ministry of Health, is now complete and available online.

The purpose of the study was to investigate and determine the cost to pharmacies for dispensing medication and providing pharmacy services to the residents of British Columbia. Participation in the study was voluntary, and included a sample of chain, independent and franchise pharmacies.
